It is great to see our customers having fun with our mini-projects. Dave Nelson is one of those users that seems to keep surprising us. Dave shared 3 of his projects recently on Google+ and we were so excited when he said yes to us using them in this "Shop Notes" post.
" Tiki mask this is made out of compressed wood I painted with rust-oleum multi color textured light stone color 11"x6"x3/4 "
Dave took the time to make this short video of the machining process... 4 masks at one time!
The Tiki Bar sign in this image uses most of the models in the Tiki Bar No.1 mini-project. Super job!
Dave has been busy making all sorts of projects using out mini-projects. This next piece he made for his Dad uses the Wine Bar No.1 project out of MDF!
"The Rough cut was 1hr with a 1/4 round over bit and the final pass was 3hr 45 min with a 1/16 round over bit I use Vectric Aspire 3.0 with Mach 3 on my KL 6090 CNC I used MDF for this. I finished the wine barrel first with Zinsser Gardz problem surface sealer then I varnished it."
Thanks Dave for sharing these with us. If you want to see more of his work check out his G+ Stream or his website (lots of social network links here for you to follow his work)!
