Is the school year just starting or is it almost time to close up the books for summer? Either way this project is perfect for jazzing up that class room with fun signs and learning tools. How about making a gift for that special teacher that went above and beyond? You know they deserve it.
Even if the current school year is over, this project has lots of potential to help keep your "crafts cubby" organized or help direct the kids to where the supplies go when it's time to tidy up.
We have designed a few neat features into this project that will make it even easier to use and re-use. These features include:
- The school house had a sign above the door that you can V-Carve text onto.
- Chalk board has a flat bottom so it will accept almost any model and will also let you get the most "Z" depth out of the added model. You could consider painting it with chalk board paint so the kids have a place to draw or a menu board for that next dinner party..
- V-Carving text onto the flat frame of the chalk board would make for a great frame.
Putting an apple on your teachers desk might get you an extra grade but consider what a new desk plaque might get you... A++ maybe???
