Jevon Lewis - "Weekend CNC Warrior" Approved!

It's always nice surprise to open up our email and find a customer submitted image of one of our mini-projects in use.  Jevon blew us away with how the use of different stains can make a finished project pop.

"Thank you for this quick and easy weekend project.  The models were high quality and easy to machine."  Jevon

We love to hear that!

Jevon used the Mothers Garden No.1's project sheet for inspiration... and turned around and inspired all of us!

Thanks again Jevon for all the great picture and comments.  Consider yourself...  Weekend CNC Warrior Approved!

We love to hear from our customers so if you have created a project with one of our mini-projects feel free to send us an image or two!  We want to see it and we will be sure to post it here in our blog: if you let us.

Thanks for reading... and if you made it this far please leave a comment!

Chad Moore - "Weekend CNC Warrior" Approved!

This fella's submitted project image has been posted on CNCminiProjects for a while now.  Chad was the very first to send us a finished project using our Mother's Garden No.1 mini-project.

Wow... what a great job!  This is what Chad had to say about the project:

mother's garden project.jpg

"I am very pleased with the Mothers garden project. I finished a model patterned after the example on your project sheet."

"I used select pine for the wood, size is around 11x10 inches in size, with a 1/4 ball-nose for roughing and a 0.051 ball-nose for finish with a 0.01 step-over. I used a minwax stain to bring out the color."

"My cnc router is a home-built that I have made, and I use Mack3 and DeskProto for my software."

Thanks again Chad for all the great picture and comments.  Consider yourself...  Weekend CNC Warrior Approved

Carl Hird-Rutter - "Weekend CNC Warrior" Approved!

WOW... we love it sooooo much when we get feedback from our customers.

Carl Hird-Rutter is one of those "Weekend CNC Warriors" that can take one of our mini-projects and blow our minds with what he comes up with!

Carl made this fantastic sign for one of his customers using the Western Saloon No.1 mini-project.

"I mounted the skull on three dowels to raise it off the background.

The finish was Briwax light brown then acrylic urethane for weather proofing

The sign is about 18 x 22 "

We never thought someone would mount the skull off the backing with dowels... but he did... FANTASTIC!!!  Also he turned the Rustic Sign base upsidedown... nice touch Carl!

"The png's import into the Carvewright  (http://www.carvewright.com/with no problems. I can set the depth of the carving before I import and adjust it afterward if need be. The results are excellent.

I am amazed at the quality of the patterns. The project ideas are great and really get the ideas flowing. I can't wait to get more patterns."
