Weekend CNC Warrior, Keith Geiger, is hacking up some great stuff!

Keith Geiger seems to have a knack for using our mini-projects!  He has come up with some great custom plaques for a basketball team.  

 

 

"I actually made 9 of these basketball ones up for a friend of mine who coaches a basketball team."
"Each one had a different last name and jersey #.. The kids loved them!"

This is a great example of a hacking mini-projects by adding and some models he already had in his library.  FANTASTIC work!

Hack of the Week No.18

The great thing about our mini-projects is that you can mix and match the models or add in your own.

Our weekly mini-project hack uses models from 2 or more mini-projects.

Football season is just starting and its time to get that basement fantasy football league up and running.  

This fancy fantasy football league wall art was created using models from 3 different mini-projects:

The large "Fantasy" text used a modified serif font (sorry... forgot to note the name... darn!)

The font we used to simulate the v-carving on the banner is called:  Eurostile

This might also make a great take home plaque for the winner or help entice more to join your league!

Baseball season is here!!

The snow is finally gone and the sun is shining bright, yep, it's summer time again and that means it's baseball season!! Our new sports themed mini-project has all the classic model elements to make your own custom baseball plaques or signs for the home teams!

Commemorate that special game by using any of the 6 models included in this set:

  • Baseball No.1
  • Medal Ribbon No.1
  • Sports plaque No.4 (flat surface to accept v-carving)
  • Baseball Shirt No.1 (flat surface to accept v-carving)
  • Home Plate No.1 (flat surface to accept v-carving)
  • Baseball Bat No.1

As always, all these models can be machined separately or in combinations with each other or with other mini-projects which we like to call a "hack".

Here is a great example of how you can create your own "hack" using our Oval sign from our Pub Sign No.1, the football Jersey in our Pick-Up League - Football along with models from this Pick-Up League - Baseball mini-project.  

Now that's a hack!
