We were asked if we would like to contribute a free CNC project to Vectric's "12 Projects of Christmas" giveaway of 2014... and of course we did.  For a short time this project was only available for Aspire users... not anymore!  All 5 models, 1 finished layout ready for your CNC and a set of snowflake vectors ready for v-carving.  We think that's a pretty good early Christmas present.

We have designed a few neat features into this mini-project that will make it even easier to use and re-use.  These features include:
- Ornament top fit over the nub of the ornament globe.
- The snowglobe base fits over the nub of the globe to create a snowglobe.
Globe has a flat bottomed dished center so it will except almost any model and will also let you get the most "Z" depth out of the added model.

Special Project Sheet to help and inspire you on how to use the free to anyone snowflake vectors!  Click the image above to get a closer look!

We have also created a set of snowflake vectors that have been tested for v-carving.  They are a `free to anyone`download.

Get them using this link!

You may want to visit Vectric`s `12 Projects of Christmas` post seeing as they have included some great information on how they created this finished project.

This CNC project is very hack-able using any of the models from our other Home for the Holidays projects. Pour yourself a tall glass of eggnog and get that CNC warmed up for the holiday season, because its coming!

Hack this Mini-Project!

The "First Christmas" ornament above is made using the models from 3 projects:

The vectors used for the simulated v-carved snowflakes are included free with the Home for the Holidays No.4 project.

The font used to simulate the v-carving is called DellaRobbiaBT.

WOW... that's a hack!

The Home for the Holidays No.4 project contains the following models and project sheet.

To get you started on your next weekend project we have included this assembled layout.
