Driving along any rural or country road you are sure to find a roadside "fresh from the farm" stall filled with a local farmer's harvest. Ready to be turned into a tasty and healthy meal for you and your family. While the purchase price is going right back into the farmer's pocket to help support his hard work, family and helping to produce next year's harvest.

Most towns and cities have Farmer's Markets that also have available fresh local produce, meat and milk.  Buying local is something that has a positive effect on so many things that is is hard not to see it's benefits.  This project and the others in the Farm Fresh series will help you create a project that will point the direction to "keeping it local".

We have designed a few neat features into this project that will make it even easier to use and reuse.  These features include:
- Rustic sign accepts v-carving or even the addition of raised text.
- Sign has a flat back so it will accept almost any model and will also let you get the most "Z" depth out of the added model.

Keeping it local is not just for the farmers but for the CNC woodworkers, crafter, procrafters and sign makers.  We hope this project will entice farmers in your area to look to your for their next sign project!
